Frequently Asked QuestionsAre there any side effects associated with botox?The most common side effects include temporary localized pain, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, and/or bleeding/bruising. Of course these are temporary side effects that typically resolve on their own.
Who is being treated with botox cosmetics? Men and women of varying ethnicities have been treated with botox . Because it works only on the underlying muscles, it is not expected to affect skin color. Is there anyone who botox may not be indicated for?Patients with certain neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthemia gravis, or lambert-eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effect. Patients with serious heart problems and allergies may also be at increased risk of serious side effects.
Are there any side effects associated with the dermal fillers?The most common side effects associated with these dermal fillers are temporary injection site redness , swelling, lumps/bumps tenderness, pain and bruising. These side effects typically subside within a few days.
What is the indication of dermal fillers?Dermal fillers such as Restylane , Perlane (from the makers of botox) Juvederm, and Radiesse are injected under the skin to add volume to smooth out moderate to deep facial wrinkles or folds.
Is there anyone who should not have dermal fillers?Patients with severe allergies , Immune disorders or patients on blood thinning medications.If you are pregnant ,breastfeeding or under the age of 18 , you should not use dermal fillers.
